Terms of Service
1. Service definition
TestHive is a marketplace that matches independent app developers with real human testers for Google Play Closed Testing. We are a service marketplace — not a financial platform, not an exchange, not a wallet provider.
2. T-Coin and Karma
T-Coin and Karma are internal credits used to coordinate the marketplace. They are service rebates, not currency, not e-money, not a security. T-Coin can be topped up via PayPal and withdrawn via PayPal subject to anti-fraud review (see Payout Policy). Karma is non-monetary.
3. Eligibility & restricted regions
You must be at least 18 years old. TestHive is currently not available to residents of CN, RU, IR, KP, CU, or SY. Withdrawals from certain OFAC grey-zone regions may require additional verification.
4. Acceptable use
- One real human, one account. Multi-account abuse is grounds for termination.
- No fake reviews, scripted clicks, or manipulated screenshots.
- Studios must be 12 distinct real people; alt accounts are prohibited.
- Developers must publish to a real Closed Testing track on Google Play.
5. Anti-fraud measures
We collect device fingerprints, perform Play Store scraping, and review cross-account device clusters. Suspicious accounts may be frozen pending review. Appeals can be filed at /account/appeal.
6. Escrow & settlement
T-Coin top-ups are split 20% platform / 60% daily pool / 20% bonus pool, all escrowed. Daily-task payouts release to the Tester's pending balance on approval and become withdrawable only after the developer confirms the app is live, or after a 30-day auto-confirmation window expires (with a 50% bonus penalty).
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Outstanding balances under sanctions or fraud investigation are held pending review and may be refunded to the source.
8. Disclaimers
TestHive provides the marketplace as-is, without warranty of feature parity with any specific Google Play policy version. Compliance with Google Play's Closed Testing rules is the developer's responsibility.
